Bloomingdale Church’s Annual Prayer Retreat
May 5-6, 2017 (Friday evening & Saturday)
The Place: Expeditions Unlimited, Baraboo WI (adjacent to the spacious Devil’s Lake State Park). The retreat center is an excellent facility with a recreation center, chapel, gym, cabins, dining hall & coffeehouse. The walk-in entrance to the state park is directly across the street and requires no fee for walk-ins. There’s good fishing in the adjacent state park.
What to bring: Casual clothes, walking shoes, Bible, sleeping bag, and towel. We stay in two large bunkhouses, divided into several rooms each.
The Cost: $68 includes three meals (Friday supper, Saturday breakfast & lunch), lodging and use of the camp facilities). The food is very good.
Transportation: We carpool and share the cost of gas. Some leave for Expeditions Unlimited Friday during the day. Some take off part (or all) of Friday and leave earlier in the day.
Sign Up online at www.bloomingdalechurch.org/prayerretreat or use the paper registration located on the lobby table. Make checks payable to Expeditions Unlimited (not Bloomingdale Church) and drop off with your registration in the church office or in the main lobby mail slot (the north wall under the big clock).
Bloomingdale Church’s annual prayer retreat is led by Pastor David Riemenschneider.
