What to ExpectPeople from a wide spectrum of ages, church backgrounds, as well as people who have no past church background at all attend Bloomingdale Church. The atmosphere of the weekend worship hours is comfortable and accepting. People dress as they wish: some dress casual, some dress up. The total time is about an hour.
If you have children, we have a clean, staffed nursery, a sanctuary infant room, and Children's Church program at every weekend worship service.
What We BelieveWe strive to be a welcoming community church, a place to investigate the Bible and discover its practical applications for our everyday lives.
The church’s mission statement reflects its commitment to be a "worshiping, praying, learning, caring, and outreaching community". Though the programs and activities of the church may change over time, the church’s commitment to the Bible as the Word of God governs its beliefs, priorities, activities and leadership.
Revelation, the last book of the New Testament, offers striking detail of what will happen in our world as it comes to its last chapter. Yet, Revelation is actually intended to be a book of encouragement. It was not written to raise our anxieties or leave us hanging with some scary stories. Rather, it explains how God is going to set the record straight and bring complete justice (which does include some sobering judgments).
