On Mondays from 7:30-8:45pm (starting September 9, 2019), about twenty men meet each week in the 264.Coffeehouse. They study the Bible in a discussion format and have a prayer time together. This group is hosted by Dan Marcello and David Riemenschneider. (Enter the lower level southwest door from the west parking area at the sign “Gym/Coffeehouse”)
Monday night, guys hang out for a short Bible study and then play basketball (pick up, full court) in our gymnasium. Attendees are of many ages, but must be graduated from high school and come at 7pm to play ball. (Enter the lower level southwest door from the west parking area at the sign “Gym/Coffeehouse”)
This group meets during the day on the 1st and 3rd Friday mornings (9am-noon) in the Common Grounds. The group is for men who are retired, students, unemployed, or just free on Friday mornings to participate. The focus of this group is doing practical acts of service together.
The men also use their practical skills to help others. For example, they have worked together to build a house on the church campus, and a new cabin for a wilderness youth camp in Canada. They also regularly assist in home projects for our single parents and seniors.
