The Bible and The 12 Steps of Recovery

Recovery Through Christ promotes spiritual and emotional healing through a combination of the practical words of the Bible and the 12 Steps of Recovery. Recovery Through Christ is a recovery program in which Jesus Christ is the higher power. The Bible is the authority for discovering peace and hope amid lives of real struggles, dysfunctions, and addictions. The group seeks to help individuals respond to life in a healthy way, instead of suppressing, numbing, denying or simply avoiding reality. In the weekly meetings, participants learn how to manage their real issues (Matthew 11:28-30) and retrain their thought and behavioral patterns where needed (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). The group provides individuals with the tools to respond to life’s choices in a healthy, constructive way.

The Saturday night Recovery Through Christ group is a supportive and caring group for the people who attend. Newcomers are welcome.
