We wanted to communicate with you how we’re proceeding as a church community through this season of unrest in our world due to COVID-19.
We are temporarily suspending our onsite weekend and onsite weekly programming, following our state and national public health guidance.
Please do not hesitate to contact the church office (630-894-0090 or firstname.lastname@example.org) or any of our pastoral staff.

WE’RE BETTER TOGETHER
“Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”—2 Corinthians 13:11
Don’t go through this season alone – we are better together. We are highlighting opportunities to meet virtually, sharing resources, posting our church service and testimonies, and posting communications on this webpage (bloomingdalechurch.org/bettertogether). We will also communicate these opportunities and changes via email and on our Facebook page.
Being together (i.e. virtually, phone calls, text, social media messaging) is vital in these times. Let’s be prayerful together for our world and community, specifically for those who are directly impacted by this virus. We’re praying for you!
We are a worshipping, learning community, and our weekly gatherings are very important to our ability to live healthy Christian lives. However, we also understand that one of the ways coronavirus spreads is through large gatherings of people. Please experience the entire service online at bloomingdalechurch.org/watch. Content will be posted at noon on Saturday.
Bloomingdale Church provides virtual opportunities throughout the week to connect with one another through prayer, worship, and fellowship.
We’re inviting families in need to come and participate in our drive-thru food bags distribution on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12-1pm. There will be volunteers who will hand you a bag of groceries as you drive up to the main entrance (264 Glen Ellyn Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108).
We continue to maintain mission commitment to you and our community. Even though we’re not meeting in person you can give your tithe and offering in numerous ways:
- Online – bloomingdalechurch.org/give
- Bank Transfer (EFT) – You can utilize your bank’s “Bill Pay” feature to designate Bloomingdale Church as the payee and schedule a one-time or recurring transfer of funds. The bank sends the church a check by mail. (This is a great option because the church does not incur the transaction fees.)
- Cash/Check options – 1) Mail to the church office: 264 Glen Ellyn Rd, Bloomingdale, IL 60108 2) Bring to church M/W/F @ 12-1pm
CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19
The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. According to the CDC, the virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person: 1) Between people who are in close contact with one another within about 6 feet, and 2) Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”—Philippians 4:6-7
