KidsQuest Events Winter 2017

Happy New Year, KidsQuest!

After a two week break for the holidays, Awana and Crossroads Kids Club are back for the new year. Here’s a look at what’s happening at KidsQuest in Winter 2017:

Awana Club (resumes January 4)

High-energy game time, large group, and learning about the Bible
Age 2 – 6th grade
Wed 6:45-8pm, September-April
Children must be checked in by an adult

Looking for a mid-week highlight? Awana Club includes playing organized gym games, making friends, and earning awards by memorizing Bible verses. Children ages 2 years – 6th grade, participate in age-specific groups (Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, T&T, PAK). Dedicated and trained leaders look forward to each Wednesday evening too. Register:

Crossroads Kids Club (resumes January 3)

Free after-school club with snack, games, Bible lesson, and small group
1st-4th grade
Tues 3:30-5pm, DuJardin Elementary School

Children at DuJardin Elementary School (Bloomingdale) are invited to Crossroads Kids Club on Tuesdays after school. Club highlights include a Bible story, small groups led by a KidsQuest worker, games, and snack. Register:

Awana Grand Prix: It’s Time to Start Your Engines!

Looking for a safe & fun way to spend a cold winter afternoon? Join KidsQuest in building and racing your very own Grand Prix Car! Winners in each age group will take home a trophy for their car. Race Day – Sun Feb 12, 3-5pm

Car Kit Sales

  • Wednesdays from 5:45pm – 7:45pm (starting November 6) and during workshops only $5

Workshop Dates (9am-noon)

  • Saturday, January 21

  • Saturday, February 4

Need help building your car? Everyone is welcome to the Bloomingdale Church Gymnasium to get assistance with cutting, sanding, and adding weights to your cars during workshops. The official scale will be on site to make sure your car’s weight is correct. Come and have fun together!
