As a man of compassion and action, he sought God and openly recognized God’s blessings in his life.  He was the second king of Israel from 1010 to 970 B.C.    ….   Pastor David Riemenschneider delivers this weeks message, the next in the series on “The Story” , a chronological journey through the entire Bible.   This message covers King David’s  “royal mess up ” with Bathsheba. The mess up occurred because of sin, and the fact that David acted on impulse instead of truth. David totally ignored God’s word.  God gives us choices and holds us accountable for them. A short-term lapse can bring great destruction and shame.   The good news is God graciously forgives repentant sinners. In order to pass the adversity and prosperity tests we need to follow God’s directions.
