At our weekend worship hours, one of the pastors present a relevant message from the Bible.
To have worthwhile, enduring lives, it is critical that we plan for and build a solid foundation in our lives. To assure that our life-foundation is safe and sturdy, we need to understand what the Bible has to say about our beginning.
Leaders: The Good & The Bad
Most people want to be a good leader in something—maybe in their job, at school, among peers, or minimally, in leading themselves well. This is not bad. It is good. In fact, it is really bad if a person does not aspire to lead himself/herself well, and be a positive influencer for others. Inevitably, we are all either good leaders or bad leaders.
When Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead, he opened a way of salvation. He saved us from the consequences of our sins, allowing us to spend eternity with Him if we believe. But he also saved us for this life, as well, so we could live a life of fellowship with and service to him, Our Savior.
The End of the Story
