At our weekend worship hours, one of the pastors present a relevant message from the Bible.
Paid in Full
This Lent season, we are going through the last days of Jesus as told by the Gospel of Luke. We remember that Jesus completely paid off the debt of our sin on the cross.
Facing some circumstances that don’t seem fair? What helps us deal with the surprises, both the unwanted, “I’d-rather-take-a-pass” circumstances we face, as well as the welcome changes that come our way? What is going on in the hard times? Does everything really work out for the good?
Light of the World
2000 years ago, the world was without hope, and the people were “walking in darkness.” But suddenly, the Lord gave a sign, the virgin conceived, and a new light of miraculous hope burst into the world through the birth of Jesus Christ.
Wake Up Call
God wants his people to be holy, not simply “religious.” Through his prophet, Malachi, he delivers some important wake-up calls to his people outlining the difference between the two. Join us as we look at our own lives through that lens and evaluate whether or not we, too, could use a wake-up call.
Stories by Jesus
Jesus was a masterful communicator who employed a plain technique. He regularly told short, simple stories (called parables). They connected with people. They gave insight into the real issues they faced. But Jesus wasn’t into fancy words or complex plots in his stories. He did not use many props or catchy phrases. Yet, his minimalist stories brought life-changing truths into clear focus.
