At our weekend worship hours, one of the pastors present a relevant message from the Bible.
When Jesus died on the cross and rose again from the dead, he opened a way of salvation. He saved us from the consequences of our sins, allowing us to spend eternity with Him if we believe. But he also saved us for this life, as well, so we could live a life of fellowship with and service to him, Our Savior.
The End of the Story
People have a lot of theories about what the future of our world will be like. It’s natural to speculate what the future will look like. Fortunately for us, Jesus, the greatest authority on the subject, describes it and includes some intriguing details.
The Promised One
Can you imagine the anticipation felt by the Israelites as they waited for generations for the arrival of the prophesied messiah? All those centuries of waiting finally culminated in the birth of The Promised One, Jesus Christ.
Following Jesus. It seems kind of hard, but actually it’s quite simple. Jesus doesn’t ask us to get weird, certainly not overly religious. He asks us to follow him in caring about people, in taking up challenges that greatly enlarge our life. He invites us to have a tangible, honest love for God and for people.
A Coming Day
We will be taking a close look at what the Bible says about eternity; specifically, judgment day, heaven, and hell.
